Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Travel & Leisure, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Tenaris SA (BIT:TENR), which rose 1.44% or 0.19 points to trade at 13.37 at the close. Meanwhile, Hera (BIT:HRA) added 1.15% or 0.04 points to end at 3.52 and Pirelli & C SPA (BIT:PIRC) was up 0.62% or 0.03 points to 5.53 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leonardo SpA (BIT:LDOF), which fell 7.23% or 1.66 points to trade at 21.30 at the close. DiaSorin SpA (BIT:DIAS) declined 2.88% or 3.00 points to end at 101.00 and Telecom Italia (BIT:TLIT) was 1.71% or 0.00 points to 0.24.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 250 to 211 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.91% or 0.67 to $74.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.69% or 0.53 to hit $77.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 6.00 to trade at $2,533.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.17% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 101.62.
