Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Communication and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 4.82% or 75.00 points to trade at 1,630.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 2.37% or 410.00 points to end at 17,690.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 1.86% or 1,590.00 points to 87,290.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which fell 24.71% or 3,630.00 points to trade at 11,060.00 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) declined 2.60% or 50.00 points to end at 1,871.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) was down 2.51% or 145.00 points to 5,635.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 237 to 215 and 87 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.37% or 410.00 to 17,690.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.15% or 2.22 to $68.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.87% or 2.12 to hit $71.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.75% or 74.00 to trade at $2,620.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.14% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS fell 0.53% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 105.50.
