Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP unchanged

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as in the sectors led shares .

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP unchanged 0.00%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p), which rose 2.29% or 320.00 points to trade at 14,280.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) added 1.83% or 200.00 points to end at 11,100.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) was up 1.21% or 200.00 points to 16,700.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:GAA_p), which fell 2.62% or 12.00 points to trade at 446.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) declined 2.13% or 320.00 points to end at 14,680.00 and Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) was down 1.81% or 45.00 points to 2,440.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.05% or 0.15 to $320.85 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.33% or 38.00 to hit $11,545.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 20.62 to trade at $2,638.72 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.05% to 4,407.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.46% to 712.56.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 108.24.
