Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities, Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI fell 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI were Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI:BCP), which unchanged 0.84% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.42 at the close. Meanwhile, Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA (ELI:RENE) added 0.62% or 0.02 points to end at 2.42 and EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDPR) was up 0.53% or 0.08 points to 15.16 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mota Engil SGPS SA (ELI:MOTA), which fell 1.57% or 0.04 points to trade at 2.50 at the close. Altri SGPS SA (ELI:ALSS) declined 0.91% or 0.04 points to end at 4.81 and Semapa (ELI:SEM) was down 0.82% or 0.12 points to 14.44.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 15 to 10 and 5 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.40% or 0.30 to $74.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $71.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.24% or 32.30 to trade at $2,646.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.04% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 100.44.
